REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM, FAMILY, AND THE AMERICAN PROMISE

A National Vision for

WHY NOW?

The United States is in its 250th year, but the promises made 250 years ago have not been actualized for everyone.

For All Our Futures is a movement-building campaign rooted in the reproductive justice framework. This framework, created in 1994 by Black women, affirms every person’s right to:

Have a child

Not have a child

Parent in safe, healthy, and dignified environments

The right to bodily autonomy

Reproductive freedom is not separate from democracy, economic justice, racial justice, healthcare, or the ability to live with dignity. The ability to decide whether, when, and how to build a family shapes a person's economic security, health, political participation, and opportunities in life.

THIS WORK HAS ALWAYS BEEN CONNECTED.

At a moment when coordinated attacks that deny our ability to decide what happens to our bodies, the freedom to be ourselves, the freedom to participate in our democracy, and our ability to live in safe and healthy communities, continue to escalate nationwide, this campaign offers a bold alternative vision:

A future where every person has the freedom, resources, and support to shape their own lives and futures.

WHY REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE?

Reproductive justice is more than healthcare policy.

It is a framework for understanding how bodily autonomy, economic security, race, gender, public health, and democracy shape people’s ability to live freely and safely.

Created in 1994 by Black women organizers, the reproductive justice framework recognizes that true freedom requires more than legal rights alone.

PEOPLE ALSO NEED:

Access

Safety

Community support

Resources

Economic stability

Freedom from criminalization and surveillance

This vision recognizes that reproductive freedom includes equitable healthcare access and the ability for all people to live with dignity, safety, and the resources necessary to thrive.

BUILDING POWER TOGETHER

For All Our Futures is bringing together movement organizations, elected officials, advocates, storytellers, and communities around a shared vision for the future.

Through coordinated organizing, legislative advocacy, digital campaigns, and public education, we are building visible momentum for reproductive freedom as a core American value.

THIS CAMPAIGN IS DESIGNED TO:

  • Activate legislative champions nationwide

  • Deepen movement partnerships

  • Expand public understanding of reproductive justice

  • Strengthen collective organizing power

  • Advance bold, values-driven policy visions

  • Build a future rooted in dignity, autonomy, and democracy
